Tranquility Acupuncture

Lauren is thrilled to be living in Raleigh, NC with her husband, Bobbie.  Before moving to Raleigh, she had an active acupuncture practice for over 10 years in California and is licensed in acupuncture in both North Carolina and California. She is Nationally Board Certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs (NCCAOM). She graduated summa cum laude from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where she received a Masters of Traditional Oriental Medicine degree (MTOM). She did post-graduate studies at the Shandong University of Traditional Medicine in Jinan, People’s Republic of China.

 

Lauren has had a lifelong passion for nutrition, health, and wellness. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine are a natural fit for Lauren's desire to stay in harmony with nature.  While steeped in the classics, the drive to stay on the cutting edge of the changes occurring in health and wellness takes her to a minimum of 4 professional seminars annually across the US and Canada. As she continues to learn, she incorporates this knowledge into her practice, helping others find their best path to optimal health. 

 

She served as Secretary on the Active Board of Directors of the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation (ppnf.org) for many years when she lived in Southern California. She now sits on their Advisory Board.
